Profile
I love all things marketing, social media, and business! I have taught marketing courses since January 2015, previously as a full-time professor and chair of the business department at Arizona Christian University. I taught at Chandler-Gilbert Community College from Spring 2019 until Spring 2023. I joined Mesa CC as a Residential Faculty in Fall 2023.
Before starting to teach at the college level, I worked in a variety of sales, advertising, and marketing positions. For 10 years, I worked at a few prestigious agencies and with a wide variety of clients, including Verizon Wireless and Toyota. In 2013, I started a marketing consulting business focused on helping small businesses with any and all of their marketing needs, especially social media marketing. In March 2021, I joined Service Business Evolution as a business coach and sales and leadership trainer, where I specialized in coaching and training business owners and their employees in home services industries. In August 2022, I reduced my role to a part-time business coach, marketing consultant, and trainer so I could become a full-time professor.
In August of 2021, I launched my first textbook, #introtosocialmedia. In 2020, I completed my Doctorate of Business Administration, with a specialization in Marketing, from Liberty University. I have been married since 2006 and have 2 kids (Kayla - 14, Daniel - 12), a dog, and a cat. : )
